We have periodic programs where even the $5 annual fee can be waived. If you are involved in a specific surplus project through our charity, Matter of Trust, you can be put on one of our "lists". We then cover the costs for processing you. (Examples: Wishlist In Every Classroom - inner city school teachers seeking clothes and shoes for homeless students, Hair List - sole proprietorship hair salons saving to pay postage to mail in hair clippings to our oil spill hair mat program, Specific Disaster Relief Inkind projects with international NGOs... See list) You still sign up (and you'll receive an email with specific instructions upon completion). But under the payment section you can either pick a credit card type or select the list if that applies to you. Upon list type confirmation from our team, you will have access to the system and save yourself an Honest Abe $5 bill. However, if you will want to purchase posters and eco-products from our online store or participate in our Left-overs Raffle you will need a credit card on file and can conveniently just enter it during sign up. |
